Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
The fever, stuffed nose,head ache,
Dizziness,
vomiting, & difficulty in breathing... all are allergic/ viral origin ...starting with common cold, followed by secondary bacterial infection & all other symptoms occur due to it.
Being pregnant asthmatic & under high risk
pregnancy care.... you should see your treating doctor earliest for having a very special personal point of view to the advise given.
In case it is not possible immediately, you can visit ER , show all of your papers .. so that the needful treatment is started to control the infection & hormonal pills (
Progesterone ) is started earlier to hasten the relief & reduce chances of causing effect on pregnancy.
Self care-
- be protected from extreme weather/ cold, spicy or oily food, exposure to known antigens.
- Drink Luke warm water/ gargles with hot saline / inhalation of steam would ease the symptoms.
- Over the counter
paracetamol pill taken two times a day would reduce fever & symptoms.
-
Diet plan & medicines for
gestational diabetes should be followed
strictly... as raised blood sugar delay healing.
* Your treating doctor has to review the advise given at ER & approve it. He will also offer suitable antibiotic, anti cold combination & bronchodialater inhalers as per need.
You would be fine with self care & expert advise.
Thanks
