i had bypass surgry x4 year ago now the arterys in my legs are blocked .what causes it and why.

The factors that cause blockage of the arteries in the heart are the same as those that result in leg vessel blockage. Smoking is a prime cause,together with the deposition of cholesterol in the arterial walls. This is due to a combination of diet,inheritance and lack of vigorous exercise.
