What Causes An Occasional Sore Eye Which Doesn T Open In The Morning?
Over the last year one eye occassionally is sore and tough to open in the morning upon wakening only. My doctor perscribed visine A ( for allergies ) ... it does work after just a day or two of visine twice a day and then goes away. But it occassionally happens again. I am 63 and will add it has happened perhaps ten times over the past year. Is it eye allergies that have cropped up or something else?

The symptoms you are telling make me conclude its an eye allergy. Keep using these eye drops and you can add tear naturale eye drops two drops twice daily.
