What Causes An Episode Of Unconsciousness?

It was normal day and i just fainted and was unconscious for 45 minutes. Doctor suggested for CT scan with MR I I would want to understand few observations: The ventricles, sulci and cisterns appear otherwise normal. Mild mucosal thickening is seen in the right maxillary sinus Thanks Anita Jain

Hello,
Welcome to hcm,
Episode of unconsciousness could be because of many reasons like hypoglycaemia, electrolyte imbalance, any seizures etc..Your CT and MRI report appears normal. Mucosal thickening in maxillary sinus indicates sinusitis that doesn't cause loss of conscious.

Thank you
