Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A college co-ed was participating in an all late night, end of the summer event where she danced, participated in several beer bongs and tequila shots in a crowded frat house. Due to the heat of the party and thinking she could fend off a hang-over the student consumed large amounts of water. She and her roommate stumbled their way back to the dorms. The next morning, however, she was found unresponsive and foaming at the mouth (no seizures were reported). How can this happen and what can be the cause of this
First get her examined by a doctor.Watch for hydrophobia. If there is no symptoms of hydrophobia then consult a neurologist and do according to his advice. If required a MRI can be done to exclude related problems like seizures and hydrophobia.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
