What Causes An Epididymis Lump With An Unusual Testicle Shape?
At the back of my left testicle i can feel a hard lumpy part which I believe to be my epididymus. But when I check for this at the back of my right testicle it doesn't appear to exist!!! The testicle itself is there and feels just like the left testicle it's just i can't feel any hard part at the back. It is perfectly smooth. When i look in the mirror i can see the left testicle sticks out a lot more at the back (kind of a pointy look) whereas its sort of circular and not pointy or lumpy on the right. The shape of my testicles have not changed so they've been like this since i can remember. I had an operation to correct an undescended right testicle at the age of nine. Is it possible that the epididymus never developed on this side?

POst-Surgery repositioning of the Epididymus on right side.
Usually the structure of the testes and epididymus is as in left testes.May not be hard/firm everytime,and is usually soft,squishy.
As you have underwent right sided repositioning of the undescended testes,unusual testicle shape is there on the right side.
USG scan would confirm the presence of the displaced epididymus on the right side.
