Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello, I recently change my diet to Vegan. I did this because my last check up stated I was now Diabetic type two. For the last 40 days I have maintained a vegan diet. I began noticing a cooper taste in my mouth about a week ago and it seems to be getting stronger. My question is should I see my doctor or is this a common side effect to a radical dietary change. Thank you
So once consult your Physician and get evaluated..
For now chew flavoured sugar free chewing gum and use a tongue scraper to clean your tongue to reduce the bad taste.. Maintain good oral hygiene and drink plenty of water..
Hope this helps..
Regards .
