What Causes An Altered Sense Of Smell And Pressure In The Chest?

Having a continual smell of cigarette smoke in the house and we don t smoke. Is causing me to have a heavy feeling in my chest when breathing. Just started about 2 weeks ago. Did have a severe cough in late February that lasted for about 6 weeks and needed an inhaler, cough meds and steroids to cure.
