hi there..I have a query here..I was advised by my gynec to take a 5 days course of regesterone..for amenorrhea..so that I could get my period in 4-5 days and I could start onoral contraceptives on the first day of the period.I started regesterone on 23rd aug till 27th aug..I dibt get my petiods yet.yesterday during coitus my husband found blood on him..trauma Is definetly ruled out coz I dint experienxe any pain or burning..and even before coitus my husband noticed blood on his hands.I thought I got my periods but this morning I found that my napkin was just clear..no traces of blood at all ! what could this be..was that bleeding my period?or was it just a withdrawal bleeding.if it was a eithdrawl bleeding do I start with my oral contraceptive today or do I wait for the regular period to kick in.and if I start oc niw will I be protected or how long would it take the pill to provide protection as we dont plan for a baby soon..and husband is quite against barrier methods..pls advice.
