What Causes Air Pockets On The Uvula?

I have many air bubbles inside of my uvula. It is rather stretched out and somewhat uncomfortable. Its like everytime i swallow it tries to go down. Im concerned about the air bubbles though, why is there pockets of air inside of it? Doesnt really look infected, but it is a littke swollen and red. No pus looking stuff, just clear bubbles that appear to be air.

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with air bubbles swollen and reddish on your uvula I am suggesting that you have developed the following differential diagnosis

Hepergina
Pharyngitis
Adenoid
Tonsillitis

In view of this please do a throat swab and blood culture to rule out the above condition

Meanwhile please see an ENT specialist with the results and for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

I hope this helps Regards
