What Causes Acne After Taking Micropil Plus?

Hi am Tinee.. my menstrual cycle is not normal. Last three month my menstruation last for 21 days. I visited my OB-Gyne and my ultrasound result is clear. She gave me a pill-Micropill Plus. I felt my abdomen getting heavy and I having a lot of pimples. So I decided to stop taking my pill. In the first month after taking a pill my menstruation back to normal but the next following months my cycle not in normal again but I do not experienced a longer red days anymore. As of now, am taking MX3 capsule and it helps to relieved pain and cramps during my period. My concern is do I need to take my pill again? My pimples is one of the side effect of the pill I took? Thank you a lot!

Acne may aggravate due to hormonal imbalance caused by Micropil Plus. Acne is a very common side effect of Micropil Plus. If your period continues to be irregular then you can take Micropil Plus.
Advice
1.     Wait for next period. If it is regular then there is no need to take Micropil Plus. If your period is irregular then you can take Micropil Plus as suggested
7.     For acne you can apply locally clindamycin 1% solution/gel in face at bed time for one month
2.     Continue MX3 capsule
3.     Keep yourself hydrated by drinking 4 – 5 liters of water daily
4.     Avoid coffee, smoking, high fat diet and alcohol
5.     Consume less salt in diet before period
6.     Do meditation and workout in gym
Irregular period has many causes. This needs to be investigated.
Investigations
1.     Serum TSH and T4
2.     Serum prolactin
