What Causes Acidity After Eating?

i am having diabities for last 7 year . i m taking insulin 15 ml in morning and 15 ml in evening along with gilitrais with tripride 2 . i have 99 % recovered from bells plasy but i have still some sensation on my face. secondly today i have aroused new problem whenever i eat some thing i fell irrtiation and feel acidity . Plus in my mouth and on tongue some white patches appeared PLS HELP

Thanks for contacting HCM. Dear patient you have not mentioned tripride 2,the tablet tripride 2 you are taking can lead to acidity, in most cases acidity decreases spontaneously after some days, but some times treatment is needed or doctor may need to change drug. Also acidity after meals can be due to the type of food you eat, avoid spicy and fried and junk food as they can increase acidity. Eat smaller frequent meals to control acidity and diabetes. Acidity after meals can be a sign of ulcer so get an upper g.i. endoscopy done to rule out ulcers and gastritis. If you are obese loose weight, this will correct acidity and will improve sugar control. Also get a complete cardiac check up done to rule out cardiac complications of diabetes as some times heart attack can present as acidity and 1/3rd diabetic can have silent heart attack. White patches on your tongue and mouth could be THRUSH a fungal infection common in diabetics. You can take oral clotrimazole drops or mouth paint to correct them. you also need to keep blood glucose in control. regards.
