Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I been told I have Carpal Tunnel and referred to a surgeon, but muscle in upper right arm feels like I have been lifting weights with a constant ache also down to the elbow which caused me problems in my day to day living, getting dressed and doing everyday things, I drop things easily and even carrying a cup of coffee is a task. Is this caused by Carpal Tunnel as I have had it for a good 12 months now.
Hi Welcome to healthcaremagic After going through your query I concluded that probably your symptoms may be due to carpal tunnel syndrome but as you are also having problem in arm and elbow so you should exclude compression of nerve in the neck by cervical rib(thoracic outlet syndrome) or cervical spondylosis. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
