What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding During Menopause?
My friend is on the phone with me now. She is wondering why after 3 years would she have a period at 50? It is so dark in color it looks black. Pain is cramps like usual going to the vagina and to the lower back. Why would this happen? Stress is not something I believe is causing these symptons due to going through way more than in the past...Thank you!
Hello dear Understand your concern Following are the cause of bleeding during the menopause: Pelvic inflammatory disease, atrophic vaginitis, cervical and endometrial dysplasia, fibroid and endometrial cancer. I advice you to consult the gynecologist and go for following investigations: Vaginal examination, USG scan, D & C and endometrial biopsy. You can take analgesic for pain. Other treatment will depend on the cause of problem Hope this may help you
