What Causes Abnormal Sensation From Waist, Groin And Right Testicles?
Hello Doc, I m a paraplegic though i have mild sensation from waste down, yesterday i feel like a electric current or like a throbbing senstation on my groin and right testicles, do you know what this is? good it be i have a hernia? since i also feel something strange on my right abdomen all started last week when i carried something heavy

The shooting sensation from the right abdomen to the groin and testicles could be from the abdomen as well as the back. If it seemed to have started after carrying something heavy, I would first start worrying about the back. However, more information is needed:
1. Is there any bulging in the groin or testicles when you cough or strain? Is the pain only when you strain? Pain with hernias typically go away as soon as you stop straining.
2. Does any position make the pain better or worse? For example, lying down is better, sitting up or bending forward is worse?
3. How do you manage your urination? Do you use a catheter? Have you had urinary problems? Since you are a paraplegic, you have a higher risk of urinary problems, which needs to be looked into.
