What Causes Abnormal Heart Rhythms?

I have had an irregular heart beat over the past few days. It has become much more frequent this afternoon and evening. No shortness of breath, no pain, no dizziness. I am a 49 year old female. Took a Treximet for a headache this morning and a Zoloft 25mg this morning.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Common causes of irregular heart beat are strong emotional responses, anxiety, strenuous exercise, caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, fever, anemia and some drugs like sumatriptan (Treximet). Sometimes, irregular heart beat signifies a serious health problem, such as an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism), and cardiac arrhythmia.
Advice
1.     Take rest
2.     Do not involve in strenuous physical activity
3.     Consult your doctor for review of medicines which you are taking. Irregular heart beat may be due to Treximet
4.     You can continue Zolofit as suggested
5.     Alprazolam 0.25 mg per oral at bed time for 10 days
6.     Stop smoking, alcohol, coffee, and caffeinated beverages
7.     Investigation –ECG, Hb%
Thanks
