What Causes Abdominal Pressure And Bloating?

About 30 minutes after eating today I all of the sudden felt pressure and bloating on the right side of my stomach and cramping in my back. I got sick and threw up felt better for a little bit but now the pressure is coming back. I was just wondering could this be gal bladder issues?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms of bloating, cramping and throwing up 30 minutes after eating are indicating food poisoning.

I advise to:
•     Drink plenty of plain water
•     Have light meals for today
•     Take oral rehydration salts
•     Take Simethicone for bloating

If no improvement or if aggravating, should consult with your physician or go to ER for immediate evaluation and treatment. We cannot tell it is from gallbladder as it has started today and not before. Wait and see if improvement, if not, then, can run further tests to rule out gallbladder issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini
