What Causes Abdominal Pain While Suffering From An Ovarian Cyst?
Hi. I am a 42 year old woman with MS. I have had abdominal pain for several months. My ultrasound showed a 4.8 cm ovarian cyst and thickened endometrial lining measuring 15mm with echogenic foci possibly representing endometrial calcification. My gynecologist has retired and the fastest I can be seen by a new gyno is 6 weeks . I am worried as is my husband. Just looking for advice. Thank you!

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gynaecologist and plan for surgical removal of the cyst.
