Hi,

PCOS is one of the most important cause of infertility in women. The process of getting pregnant is entirely dependent on hormones such as Fsh, Lh, estrogen, progesterone.

PCOS affects these hormone levels and causes unnecessary increase in hormones such as androgens.

Hence drugs are required to normalize the hormone regulation and help in conception.

Although it might be tedious and depressing to take a number of medicines, kindly do not stop the medications.

Continue the medications for 3 to 4 cycles to increase the chance of pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
