General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Abdominal pain with diarrhea & green stool are commonly due to food poisoning or infections (salmonella, giardia or E.Coli). It can be due to intake of green leafy vegetables or bile pigment in the stool.

You can visit ER, get physically examined. Get CBC, Urinalysis(R/E & C/S), Stool test (R/E & C/S) done.

Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected. In the meantime, he can take Antacids, PPI's, one sos when needed.

Anti-diarrhea & spasmol (spasmoproxyvon), one sos when needed for relieve.

Keep him well hydrated, give water, ORS & soups.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
