What Causes Abdominal Pain Followed By A Bowel Movement And Vomiting?
Periodically I get severe stomach cramping with the need to have a BM followed by vomiting. It s been happening for about a year, but not very often. Recently I had surgery and was on oxycodone for 3-4 days and this has become more frequent. I can t connect it with anything I ve eaten and I feel fine about a half hour after vomiting.

It may be due to colitis, celiac disease. Try to take a course of antibiotics for colitis and do stool examination. What is the color of the stool? Gastric ulcer can also cause same symptoms.
