What Causes Abdominal Pain And Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding?

It started with a 2 week bleeding cycle (normally 3 days) but it wasn t that kinda blood. As soon as it stopped I had massive, unbearable pain making an L down the right side to my left overy area. Now I have blood in my Urian along with what seems to be light and dark pieces of something. I know that it isn t blood clots. Also I m a female and I m 25.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take mefenamic acid and tranexamic acid combination for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persists you can consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.

You can go for an ultrasound scan for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
