What Causes Abdominal Pain Along With Red And Black Specks In Stool?

I have been experiencing severe bloating, gas and abdominal pain. Have been experiencing severe constipation then today diarrhea (due to stool softeners, and took some milk of mag.). I have been diagnosed with IBS. My question is now I am seeing red and black specks in my stool. What would. E causing this!

Hello,

Bloating, abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhea are due to IBS which has already been diagnosed. Presence of red and black specks in stool can be due gastrointestinal bleeding. I suggest you to get stool test for occult blood.
