What Causes Abdominal Pain Along With Diarrhoea And Acid Reflux During Pregnancy?

I am 9 weeks pregnant. I ve had morning sickness. I was also conspipated for a week. But now this week, my stomach has had a constant ache, I ve been super gassy, my poop is soft a diareah like but I m not pooping like crazy and everything is making me sick to my stomach. Is this a pregnancy symptom or do I have a virus?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

In the first trimester it is usual to get morning sickness (nausea, abdominal discomfort etc). Although, if it is more then an ultrasound examination should be done to rule out any possibility of tubal pregnancy. Medications like Doxylamine can be taken after discussing with your gynecologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad B. N., General & Family Physician
