What Causes Abdominal Pain After Passing Stool In A Child?
My 11 year old daughter is having abdominal pain after using the loo. Its making her not want To go and she s started holding it in, which also causes her pain. After sheS been she manages the pain by walking up and down the hallway for about 20 minutes its been happening on a daily basis for about 2 months now and although notgetting worse its not getting better, she he periods of diarrhea but no constipation she sayx. She hates the doctors (she has aspergers) so only want to go if really necessary as it distresses her what do you think?
After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that colitis ( stomach infection ) can cause the same and may require diet modification to soft and liquid, a probiotic and may be an antibiotic. If she doesn't get better in few days then consult a physician personally.
Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
Kind Regards Dr Bhanu Partap
