General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

I would recommend an urgent EKG to be conducted, an upper GI endoscopy and a check on your blood glucose profile. Ruling out a cardiac ailment will be important in such circumstances, as we need to look into other possibilities only after ruling the more serious conditions out.

Conditions like gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, etc; can all cause such a presentation and so I would recommend an upper GI endoscopy to rule them out or confirm them.

In the meantime, please drink plenty of water, do not drink alcohol, do not smoke, and avoid spicy/fried/oily/fatty food.

Best wishes.
