What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Vaginal Bleeding While On Depo Provera?

Hi I am on depo provera sense july 31st 2015 and haven t had any period what so ever this last week as of December 12 2015 I have started bleeding but it s only there when I wipe I have really bad cramps and having to use the restroom more is this normal or should I call my obgyn

I understand your concern.
Abdominal pain and spotting are some of the common side effects while on depot preparations. You need to take symptomatic treatment like analgesics for abdominal pain. Spotting should subsidie gradually on its own.
However, if these symptoms persists for a longer duration or if it worsens, you need to consult Gynecologist for change in the contraceptive method which would suit you.
