What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Diarrhea While On Azithromycin?
Hi, I ve been diagnosis with mycoplasma and my doc has also diagnosis me with BV. I ve taken the Azithromycin for the pass 5 days and also the MetroGel. Its now a week later and I m experiencing mild cramping, light spotting and severe diaherra. Do you have any suggestions on what my symptoms can be? Even though my doc has diagnosed me with both mycoplasma n bv already. I m very concerned and I will have to wait 6 weeks for my next follow up.
As per your clinical history is concerned please complete dose of medication as advised by your doctor. Abdominal cramps and loose motions are side effects of medications so nothing to be worried at all. It happens if you do not take probiotics along with antibiotics so you can add a probiotics like lactobacillus along with it and it is an OTC medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
