What Causes Abdominal Cramping After Swallowing Semen While On IUD?

I know there isn t really a connection but why do would I get cramps after swallowing semen? I have the iud and ever since I got it put in I have clperiod cramps after giving my boyfriend head but only if I swallow the semen what would cause that? Is it just sexual hormones causing contractions? Never had it til the iud.

Swallowing semen ideally does not cause stomach cramps or stomach upset. Since it is raw and your system is sensitive then it can cause some type of allergic reaction. Swallowing semen is not safe as it can cause you sexually transmitted diseases directly if your partner has any active STI. Avoid swallowing semen.

You are suggested to get the position of your IUD checked by your health care provider. If it is in position, no worries. In case it is not in position, you will have to get it removed. Sometimes, strong and multiple orgasms can also trigger stomach cramps. To get rid of the pain, you can take antacids or PPIs. Avoid any type of sexual activity for a couple of days. You are stressed up, take rest.
