What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Delayed Periods After Taking Crisanta?
I have been using Cipla Crisanta (21 tablets) contraceptive pills for 1 year 3 months. I stopped taking these pills on March 7th or 8th, 2017, to start trying for a baby. I got a withdrawal bleed 4-5 days later, but since then I have not had my periods at all. It s been 2.5 months now without my periods. I think my tummy has bloated a little as well. All pregnancy tests taken so far have been negative. Any suggestion on how to kick-start my periods? Or am I being paranoid? P.S. - A gynecologist friend has suggested taking Deviry (Medroxyprogesterone Acetate 10mg) tablets twice a day for 5 days to start my periods. Is it safe? These are not birth control pills right? I m just curious if there is any other (natural) way to start my periods.
Hi I think you can take deviry to induce periods if your pregnancy test is negative. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. You may need ovulation induction with timed intercourse for conceiving if any abnormality is there. Hope it helps.
