Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I keep getting extremely bloated, stomach cramps/pain, heart burn, and extremely soft stool that is green. I have now developed severe hemroids that keep getting bigger and bleeding. I have tried preparation h and it hasn t helped. My question is could this all be related to something simple that will go away or should I call and set an appointment with my doctor? I hate to waste their time with something that is normal. I have not changed my diet or medication for a long time.
As per your complain you are observing change in the colour of stool with abdominal bloating problem that may be because of intestinal infection or food intolerance problem or other reason. Giardia protozoa infection or bacteria infection may cause green stool problem. Stomach flu may ruled out. Gluten food intolerance also lead to loose stool and other abdominal problems. Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Avoid spicy food and gaseous foods in diet. Stool sample test is helpful to detect any infection present or not.
I hope my guidance helpful to you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr Rachana Goswami
