What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Cramps With Flatulence After Eating?

I have severe bloat, gas, stomach cramps after I eat anything. I am taking medication for acid plus blood pressure meds and diabetic insulin. It feels like a burn in the pit of my stomach and it makes me nauseated and I get really weak. What can this be?

Thank you for the query.
From the history that you have provided, I understand that you are diabetic (on Insulin), Hypertensive (on medications) and suffer from hyperacidity. It would have been very helpful if you would have mentioned you last blood sugar levels and HbA1c levels. Presently, you are having severe bloating and stomach cramps, specially after taking meals. These symptoms may be highly suggestive of 2 conditions -
1. Acid peptic disorder - may occur due to hyperacidity, and leads to symptoms like abdominal pain (mainly upper) along with bloating. A group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole, omeprazole) are helpful in this condition, along with sucralfate suspension (with/without anaesthetic preparations).
2. Diabetic patients commonly suffer from a condition called diabetic gastroparesis. In this condition, the movement of food from the stomach to the small intestine is slow or delayed, and one feels bloated after taking meals. There may be heartburn, nausea, loss of appetite and abdominal cramps (due to spasm of the wall of the stomach). In this condition, it is advisable to take frequent small meals instead of large portion of meals. You will need to avoid high fat and very high fibre diet (as this increases bloating). Sugar control is important. A group of drug called pro-kinetics help by increasing the movement of the stomach, and pro-biotics (like lactobacille) may be helpful.
It is advisable to consult your physican, for a cinical examination and some tests like ultrasonography (Sometimes a stone in gall bladder or fatty liver may have similar presentations) or endoscopy may be needed.
