What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Acid Reflux While On Metformin?
I am a 57 year old woman diabetic started taking metformin about 6 weeks ago. I had arthroscopic surgery 1 month ago and took Norco for 3 week. Now I have constant bloating and bubbling in my stomach like excessive acid all the time. Tums doesn t help

Hello,
Norco is causing bloating and acid reflux because it can cause hyperacidity. Start capsule Omeprazole 1 hour before meal 12 hourly for 1 week.
Avoid spicy, oily food and fatty food. Keep your head slightly upwards to prevent reflux of acid while sleeping.
