What Causes Abdominal Bloating Along With Diarrhea And Rashes On The Stomach?

I am a 34 year old african american female who has been experiencing bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea and now rashes on my stomach and chest. Was told by a gastroenterologist that I am lactose intolerant and have SIBO. I have taken a course of antibiotics with no relief. I am becoming concerned that there is another underlying issue but dont know where to turn. Can you suggest what my take course of action should be? Thank you

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

The further line of investigation would be -
1. Endoscopic guided aspiration and culture and sensitivity of the duodenal contents to isolate the exact bacterial strain causing this.
2. Breath testing.

You can approach your gastroenterologist regarding this.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
