What Causes Abdominal Bloating After Appendix Removal?

Hi, I just had my appendix removed 2 days ago laparoscopically. Is it normal to be extremely sore and bloated in my mid section/abdomen? My stool is liquidy and dark brown/almost black. I am taking the Hydrocodon 5-325 that my surgeon prescribed me, but it doesn t seem to help with the pain too well/the soreness. It only makes me sleepy. It hurts to swallow also because I had an esophagus tube down my throat during surgery. Is this pain normal? Do I need stronger medication? Thanks!

@ This seems in relation with gastritis ( may be some drug induced )
@ My suggestions for better recovery

$ No need of stronger medication , bu require to add a proton pump
inhibitor in drug basket as cap. Prilosec ( 20 ) mg to be consumed
with sips of water on empty stomach before breakfast and dinner .
$ Consume more liquids at present .
$ Take soft , light diet at intervals with fresh curd preferably .
$ Avoid all oily , spicy , non veg , beverages , alcohol , smoking .
$ Remain ambulatory with regular walking , minor exercises .
$ If condition persist after 24 hrs , consult your doctor immediately .
