What Causes Abdominal And Back Pain While Having A Uterine Fibroid?

Hi! I have a 9mm posterior wall uterine fibroid. I am constantly in pain that starts in my abdomen and radiates to my lower back. It feels like somethings twisting. I have an appointment in a week with my obgyn but I m anxious to know what to do. What are my treatment options? My husband and I were going to ttc this year.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to fibroid.

For that you may require complete hemogram, ultrasound abdomen after gynaecologist consultation.

You may require surgical intervention after consultation.

You may require iron tablet after consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.
