What Causes Abdominal And Back Dull Pain After Esophageal Linx Implantation?

I m a 45 year old male, have been diagnosed with GERD. I have had an esophogeal lynx implanted. I have had an upper GI, the last one was unremarkable. I recently caught a virus which I am getting over. The last week I have been having abdominal pain and back pain. My abdominal pain is a constant dull pain, sometimes more intense. I do not have any nausea, fever, chills, no constipation or diarrhea, etc. my abdominal pain is above belly button, in the center, with some pain on right side, but primarily in the middle. Please tell me what this is.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
?Duodenal Ulcer with Gastritis.
Cause of this needs to be assessed with help of Surgeon or Physician, who would then plan treatment accordingly in your case.
Though you got treated for the GERD,the high acidity is not being treated with this.
So you need to investigate(By OGD-oesophago gastro- duodenoscopy) the cause and assess the extent of Gastric and duodenal illness accompanied with it.
The central upper abdominal pain indicates the above possibilities, which needs to be worked out with other causes and ailments which may need seperate treatments with PPI with Amoxycycline x 4-12 weeks in some cases.
The cause of Gall Stone/Cholecystitis (CT Scan with Cotrast study of the Bile Ducts)needs to be kept in mind while treating your case- after Linx implantation.
Surgeons second opinion and assessment of your problems from him,is needed in your case.
Hope this reply would help you to plan further treatment with your doctors there.

Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Good Day!!
