I have this vertical line running down my toenail. I've noticed it since I was in second grade, and right now I'm about fifteen, and it hasn't gone away since. I've been looking it up and I keep seeing the word 'melanoma'. I found out that it's the most serious type of skin cancer. It hasn't been a problem, but more of a self-concious thing whenever I take my nail polish off. I always painted over it and ignored it, but now researching about this makes me scared and want to take it more seriously. Please, I need answers.
