What Causes A Thin Green Stringy Discharge With Precum?
Hello I had sex unprotected sex with a girl and did not ejaculate. After falling asleep and warming up in the morning I decided to masturbate. To my dismay there was a thin green stringy substance that came out along with my cum. Is it possible to have contracted an std within 8 hours of contact? Also I should note that I did have some previous discomfort earlier in the day with my urinary track while I was showering. I believer this was due to the strong soap I used on the hotel.

As per my clinical experience, thin green stingy discharge with precum indicates possible infection with prostate gland. Usually gram negative E. coli is major pathogen responsible for this type of infection. However, it is recommended to consider the evaluation with culture sensitivity report of the precum or semen in the lab to get the exact cause of infection with the susceptible antibiotics through which it will be cured at earliest.
It seems exacerbation of pre existing infection after unprotected sex, rather than an STD. Till that time, take following precautions:
- Drink more liquids
- Genital hygiene
- Control of blood sugar
- Avoid any type of sex till recovery
