What Causes A Swollen Lump On The Right Shoulder?

I have a tennis ball swelling lump on the front side of my right shoulder. Sometimes it feels like a very slight burning feel to it from the inside. Then if feels like the right side of my collarbone is in some minor pain. Most of the time the swelling is just there. I have had this swelling for roughly 5-6 years. Any clue to wait it might be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
It sounds like a lipoma, which is a fatty tumor. These are not dangerous but when they are large can cause some pain and discomfort. They can be removed by a surgeon but often unfortunately come back
Best wishes
