What Causes A Swollen Lump On Abdomen Below The Breast?
My friend has an abscess, swelling, or lump on the her abdomen below the breast on or about the 4th anterior rib. No pain or tenderness associated with it. No discoloration of the skin. Not attributed to any known injury or insect bite. The size is about 2 inches in diameter but only half an inch above the surface of the surrounding skin.

it is best if you consult with a physician and have your friend's lump checked. it might just be an inflammatory process, but a confirmatory physical examination will be of help. possible diagnostics and management (medical or surgical) will be directed accordingly.
