What Causes A Subchorionic Hematoma During Pregnancy?

I was diagnosed with a 2 .6*0.4cm subchorionic hematoma at 13 weeks during my first pregnancy.there has been no spotting or bleeding thought. I did another scan at 24 weeks at a different medical center the radiologist said everything was OK. Could he have missed seening it and its still though he said its gone .am concerned because the ultrasound graphic is not very clear. Could he have missed it as a result????

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is of small size and does not cause much problems. You have to take proper bed rest to avoid expansion of hematoma.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
