Hello last week I had cold like symptoms , that has now gone away but I have a very strange taste in my mouth and nose, I also feel very lethargic and dizzy at times. I am very worried as I had sex last week with a stranger and my protection broke. I am worried in case I have caught HIV .

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The strange taste can be secondary to the cold, during cold there will be loss of papilla nothing to be panic, wait for a week, once the cold reduces the taste will come back. Regarding the HIV, you consult a general physician and get a screening test for HIV done.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
