What Causes A Squishy Mass Under The Foot?

over just a day my foot started bothering me. Initially I thought I had something in my shoe but that was not the case. I took my shoes and socks off and found there was a smallish squishy mass under the skin. This is on the under side of my Left foot just below my middle toe.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan to rule out spine related problems like prolapsed disc or nerve compression.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
