What Causes A Small Red Rash On The Cheeks?

Hey, i have recently noticed a small red rash shown yup on my cheeks chin and moving down my neck and chest. They are not very itchy or sore but i find the moving go my face slightly affected. My roommate has this as well and it showed up about two days ago and then began to show up on me. We thought hers was an allergic reaction but now we are unsure

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small red rash on the cheeks which is spreading to neck and chest seems to be due to allergic reaction and it could be due to change in environment. The symptoms can also occur due to allergic reaction from cosmetic products , contact dermatitis and eczema.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to drink plenty of water. Drink green tea daily it will purify skin and detoxify it. Wash face with clindamycin gel. Avoid use of any steroids on face. Apply aloe vera gel on face and take antihistamine like benadryl. You should visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Go for skin allergy testing as well to find exact allergen. Doctor may also prescribe retinoids , corticosteroid cream or vitamin supplement.
