What Causes A Small Blister On Breast Above The Areola?
I woke up and noticed a small ( half the size of a dime) water blister on the top of my right breast. It s about 2 inches above my areola. It is not painful, this area doesn t experience friction and I can t think of what could have caused it and it seems to have appears over night. Should I be concerned or just see if it goes away? What could this possibly be? Could it be related to seasonal allergies - mine are pretty bad right now.
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-B cream twice daily on affected skin. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
