What Causes A Red Lump On The Upper Leg?

MY FRIEND HAS SOME TYPE IN BITE ON HER UPPER LEFT LEG AND THE BITE SIZE SEEMS TO BE GROWING. tHE BITE Hold is about the size of a penny or less. not at first but growing. It also is red, red aand that circle exp0ands about the three or four inches all around. She showed me the bite about 11 30 AND SHE JUST LEFT TO GO BACK TO MOMTGOMERY, aL, but in the five hours she was here I could see growth in the redness around the bite. I suspect Brown Recluse. Can you help My friend visited me tonight and she has a bite on her upper left leg and I suspect s brown recluse spider. It appeard to grow in the 5 hours she was here in colombus

Hello,

It may be due to folliculitis or boil.

For that you can apply neosporin powder over it locally.

Gentle application of heating pads will also help.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

In case of fever you may require antibiotics after consultation
