What Causes A Red Blotch Of Blood In Eye And Nausea After Removing Cataract?

Two days ago I had a cataract removed from my right eye. I was fine yesterday my vision is better now I have a big red blotch of blood on the side of the eye. Today I feel nausea and lightheadedness overall not well. Walked to grandaughters school and back and started feeling worse. Not that well in morning but worse as day progressed. Am in touch with Dr office and they have a 24 hr ph contact. Wondering is this normal and why. Not much discrepancy between the two eyes. I am 71 years old recently diagnosed with diabetes-diet controlled. Thank you

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, not this is not the normal condition and this could be post operative complication and this need to be taken seriously and better to see the eye surgeon as early as it is possible, hope this information helps, take care.
