Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I sometimes get a lump or two on my waistline. They don t hurt if I leave them alone. They are the same color as my skin. About the size of a dime or sometimes a nickel. I have squeezed them until it bursts and a clear oily liquid comes out. They seem to randomly appear, then go away. Can you tell me what it is?
From the condition described by you it can be a Benign Harmless Lipoma.
Lipomas are harmless collection of fatty cells that form a round or oval rubbery lump under the skin Lipomas appear just under the skin . They commonly occur in the Neck , Shoulders, back , abdomen , arms and thighs
Soft and doughy to touch They can move easily with slight finger pressure
Generally small in size but can grow
Lipomas can be painful if they grow and pressure the nerves nearby or if they contain blood vessels
