What Causes A Rash On The Chest After Receiving IVIG Infusions?
i receive ivig infusions and the first time i got the infusion i broke out in a rash on my chest. iwent to a dermatoligist and he diagnosed my condition as grovers disease not relared to the infusion. does this sound plsusable YYYY@YYYY
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Yes, possibility of Grovers disease is more likely. Your rashes are seen only on chest. This is unlikely if it is due to IV Immunoglobulins (IG). If rashes are due to IVIG, they would have seen on entire body especially at injection site. So possibility of IVIG related rashes is less likely and Grovers disease related rashes is more likely. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
